GENERAL:
G-1 Drivers must be signed up & paid member of The Hooter Chassis Outlaw Tour Series to run in series events.  Tour
entry fee is $10.00 per class (this covers all Hooter Chassis Tour events).  The Driver will be provided one sticker
per class signed up for, to be placed on the car body in location specified in the class rules.
Additional Hooter Tour Stickers may be purchased for $1.00 each.
Spec Truck class also has an additional $5.00 fee help cover the costs of the motors
G-2 The rulings from the Hooter Chassis Outlaw Tour officials are final.  If a situation arises that is not clearly covered in
the rules Tour officials will evaluate the situation & rule accordingly by vote when deemed necessary on the spot.
G-3 No participant shall subject any Tour official to verbal &/or physical abuse, nor to any other competitor during a Tour
event.  No use of profane &/or threatening language will be used or tolerated during Tour events, anyone taking part
in such conduct will find their points taken away for that event & asked to leave the event.
G-4 No Driver, Car Owner or Crew Member will have any claim for damages or expenses against Hooter Chassis Outlaw
Tour officials for any reason.
TURN MARSHALLING:
TM-1 Drivers must turn marshal the race immediately following their own race.  Drivers must take your car immediately to 
the tech inspection table, return radio to impound & then take a turn position at the track.
TM-2 Substitute turn marshal's will only be permitted with approval from Tour officials.
TM-3 Turn marshal's are not permitted to perform repairs to damaged race cars.  If a car is damaged & cannot compete it
will be turned over & set out of harms way of the racing line (as possible).
TM-4 Any car being marshaled should be returned to the same point in which it left the racing surface.
TM-5 Anyone failing to perform their turn marshal duties after their race will have their qualifying laps taken away for that 
race in which they just completed.  These rules also hold for the main events as well & main laps may be taken
away as well.
GENERAL RACING EVENT RULES:
GR-1 If a car is removed from the race track for repairs the car may not re-enter that race if it has lost more than 5 laps to
the race leader.
GR-2 A car may not enter any race after it has already begun.  Drivers must be on time & have the car on the starting grid.
GR-3 A car may not run without a properly secured body, if the body comes off during a race the car must be pulled off.
GR-4 A driver will only be permitted to run one car (per class) during any Hooter Chassis Outlaw Tour event.  Meaning 
the driver must run the same car in all heat races & the main at a particular event.  A second car may only be used if
the drivers primary car is deemed to have un-usable / unfixable damage to be repaired in time for the drivers next 
race.  Approval must be given by Tour officials prior to the second car being used.  If granted approval the driver must
start in the last starting position in their next race regardless of rotation position (in a heat) or qualifying position if
it is in a main event.
THIS INCLUDES THE DASH - THE SAME CAR MUST BE USED TO RUN THE DASH AS USED IN ALL OTHER RACES
GR-5 Tire compound / additives will be at the discretion of the track hosting the event.
GENERAL TECH RULES :
GT-1 It is the drivers responsibility to ensure their car meets all tech inspection rules prior to the start of any Hooter Chassis
Outlaw Tour series race or event.  All inspection fixtures / scales will be provided so that the driver may check their
car before & anytime during an event.
GT-2 All cars must be presented to the tech inspection table immediately after the race the car was just ran in.  No car is 
permitted to be taken into the pit area before coming to the tech table.  Any driver doing so will be DQ'd from the race 
just ran.
GT-3 If a car passes tech inspection & a technical illegality is missed / over looked, the car is still illegal & subject to DQ.
GT-4 A numbered "Pill Draw" system will be used to determine heat line ups.
GT-5 General Items which will be inspected are as follows:  (also see rules per class)
Battery - capacity must be 5000 mahr or less - no re-labeling permitted
Motor - ensure current legal, no miss match of end bells, armatures, cans etc.  Armature must be stamped / tagged as
required by ROAR ID.  No stand-up brushes permitted, no bearings permitted.
Weight - Cars must meet Minimum weight requirement per class (-.1 permitted w/ notice to raise for next race)
Bottom Chassis Ride Height - cars will be run over a ride height inspection gage set to current ROAR established 
rules per class.  The car must pass cleanly over the gage without causing a tire to be lifted in which it can spin freely.
Note this does not include any button head screws which may be protruding lower than the main chassis.  The body 
should be trimmed such that the bottom of the body is of the same level as the bottom of the main chassis, body
must clear the ride height gage also.
GT-6 All rules apply for the mains as well including for the mains the Top 3 Drivers in the "A" Main may have their motors 
torn down to ensure compliance with ROAR rules for that class.  This inspection is at the discretion of Tour officials
and if requested will take place immediately after the A main event while the cars are at the tech table.  A car may not 
be removed from the tech table for this inspection.  The driver will be responsible for getting tools for removal & tear
down of the motors as well as opening up their own motor.  Any driver refusing to perform this inspection if called
for will be DQ'd on the spot & the 4th placing driver in the event will have his car inspected & if legal will be given the
points for that position & all other drivers will advance up one position as well (including the following mains).
Note:  No driver will be singled out for this inspection if requested all top 3 drivers must perform the tear down.
Tour officials are not responsible for any damage &/or missing parts which may result from this inspection.
GT-7 Any motor found to be illegal will be turned over to Tour officials & will not be returned &/or replaced & the driver will
be DQ'q from the event.  The motor will stay with the Tour series & be available for inspection purposes only until
the Entire Tour Series is over at which time it may be returned to the driver.
GT-8 A non tour member may participate in a tour event one time for a $5.00 entry fee in addition to the track entry fees.
If the driver wishes to join the tour at a later date the full entry fee for the class he or she wishes to join must be paid.
HOOTER CHASSIS OUTLAW TOUR POINTS:  (ALL CLASSES)
HP-1 Hooter Chassis Outlaw Tour Series points will be awarded as follows:  note it is encouraged that a driver compete
in all Tour events to support the tracks which are willing to host our events, as a result a bonus point system is in 
place to encourage drivers to make all events.  SEE BELOW
HP-2 The Series will comprise of an 8 race schedule with the drivers 1 lowest points scoring event dropped (the 5pt
event bonus does not get dropped - see below)
HP-3 Each driver will receive a 5 pt event bonus for coming to an event, paying the track fee & participating in at least
one heat race. (note the driver will not receive any other points if he / she does not participate in their respective  
Main / Feature during the event)
HP-4 All drivers who have participated in all the races on the schedule will receive an additional 50 pt bonus added to their
final points total (after the lowest scoring event points have been removed)
HP-5 The Top Qualifier at the event will receive 1 pt bonus for that event.
HP-6 Points break down: Points only awarded to the driver in the event not the car.
1st = 150 pts
2nd - 5th will be separated by 3 pts (2nd = 147, 3rd = 144, 4th = 141, 5th = 138 pts)
6th - 10th will be separated by 2 pts (6th = 136, 7th = 134, 8th = 132, 9th = 130, 10th = 128 pts)
11th - the final remaining positions will be separated by 1 pt (11th = 127, 12th 126 pts & etc.)
