Break Out Truck

Breakout - 1:    Chassis:  Any commercially available 1/10th scale direct drive pan car chassis is eligible, must maintain the original manufacturers main chassis plate.                                      

Breakout - 1a:  Aftermarket bumpers are permitted but must not protrude outside of the body.

Breakout - 1b:  Maximum width = 9.875”, Minimum width = 7.25”, Maximum length = 20”, Maximum wheel base = 11”, Minimum wheel base = 9”, Ride Height (Bottom chassis) = 4mm minimum.

Breakout - 1c:  Weight of the car race ready – including transponder (personal or track supplied) must be 36 ounce minimum.

Breakout - 2:    Bodies:  Bodies must be NASCAR truck style from Protoform, McAllister or RJ Speed.

Breakout - 2a:  Bodies must be realistically trimmed – wheel wells must be cut out with 100% of the tire visible.

Breakout - 2b:  Bodies must be realistically painted:  Windows must be transparent.

Breakout - 2c:  Rear spoilers are permitted with maximum height of 2” from top of rear deck.

Breakout - 2d:  NO SIDE DAMS ARE PERMITTED.

Breakout - 2e:  The Hooter Chassis Outlaw Tour sticker must be place on the rear window area of the body.

Breakout - 3:   Batteries:  Any 1 cell LIPO ROAR approved by October 1, 2015

Breakout - 3a:  Properly connected receiver packs are allowed, meaning those that are connected in such a way that no voltage is fed to the motor from the receiver pack. See additional ESC notes in General Rules GT-4.

Breakout - 4:   Motors:  Any ROAR approved sensored Motor/Rotor Combination. Lightened/Machined end bells are permitted in this class as long as they are OEM per TOUR rules. The Trinity D3.5 Motors will remain legal in this class for the entire 2015/2016 season.

Breakout - 5:   ESC: Any ROAR Sportsman ESC with a MAP price of less than $250.  See additional ESC notes in General Rules GT-4.

Breakout - 6:   Tires:  Any foam tire manufactured for use with PAN cars.  Wheel diameter – min. = 1 5/8”, max. = 2”; Tire width – min. = Ύ”, max. = 2”

 

17.5 Sporstman Pan Car:

Sportsman Pan Car -1   Chassis:  Any commercially available 1/10th scale direct drive pan car chassis is eligible, must maintain the original manufacturer’s main chassis plate.

Sportsman Pan Car -1a   Aftermarket bumpers are permitted but must not protrude outside of the body.

Sportsman Pan Car -1b   Maximum width = 9.875:, Minimum Width = 7.25”, Maximum length = 20”, Maximum Wheel Base = 11”, Minimum Wheel Base = 9”,  Ride Height (bottom chassis) = 4mm minimum including button head screws.

Sportsman Pan Car -1c   Weight of the car race ready – including transponder (personal or track supplied) Must be 36 oz. minimum

Sportsman Pan Car -2    Bodies:  Bodies must be Protoform Dodge Gen III, Protoform Gen III Camaro, McAllister Mustang #299 and McAllister Camaro #298.

Sportsman Pan Car -2a   Bodies must be realistically trimmed - wheel wells must be cut out with 100% of the tire visible. Bodies must be trimmed on the trim lines in the front splitter areas (2mm of vertical splitter material in place) and as close as possible in all other areas.

Sportsman Pan Car -2b   Bodies must be realistically painted, windows must remain transparent.

Sportsman Pan Car -2c    Rear spoiler supplied with body must be installed and trimmed at trim line.  Rear of body cannot be removed.

Sportsman Pan Car -2d   NO REAR WINGS ARE PERMITTED.

Sportsman Pan Car -2e   The Hooter Chassis Outlaw Tour sticker must be place on the rear window area of the body.

Sportsman Pan Car - 3     Batteries:  SMC 4000 - 25c – 1 Cell with HCOT seal.

Sportsman Pan Car - 3a   properly connected receiver packs are allowed, meaning those that are connected in such a way that no voltage is fed to the motor from the receiver pack. See additional ESC notes in General Rules GT-4.

Sportsman Pan Car - 4     Motors:  Turnigy TrackStar 17.5T Sensored Brushless Motor 2270KV (ROAR approved) #9192000029, must be inspected by HCOT and a seal installed prior to use in any HCOT event. If the seal is broken or tampered with the motor must be reinspected.

Sportsman Pan Car - 5     ESC:  The ONLY ESC permitted is the Hobbywing JustStock Blue or Black Edition See additional ESC notes in General Rules GT-4.

Sportsman Pan Car - 6     Tires:  World GT Tires only from CRC, BSR or TM, RC for Less or GQ with the purple ring. The entry from JACO cannot be used.  Wheel diameter - min. = 1 5/8”, max = 2” ”; Tire width – min. = Ύ”, max. = 2”

Outlaw Late Model:

OL LATE MODEL - 1:   Chassis:  Any gearbox style chassis using 4 wheel independent suspension is legal - Buggy based conversions also are legal and may be altered to reverse gearboxes and offset batteries.  Transmission based and Direct Drive Cars are permitted. No straight axle cars.

OL LATE MODEL - 1a:   Wheelbase to be:  Minimum = 9”, Max. = 11.5” Maximum track width = 10.0” Chassis bottom height = Ό”

OL LATE MODEL – 1b:  Weight to be 50 oz. Minimum.

OL LATE MODEL – 2a:  Motors - Any ROAR approved sensored 17.5 Motor/Rotor Combination. Lightened/Machined end bells are permitted in this class as long as they are OEM per TOUR rules. The Trinity D3.5 Motors will remain legal in this class for the entire 2015/2016 season.

OL LATE MODEL - 3:  ESC:  Any ROAR Sportsman ESC/Software available to the racing public through normal distribution channels at least 30 days prior to the date of the event.

OL LATE MODEL - 4:   Tire and Wheels: Max wheel diameter: 2.0” Front tire and wheel width: Max 1.1” Rear tire and wheel width: Max 1.5”, Pan Car wheels are permitted but must be cut down to a Maximum width of 1.5”

OL LATE MODEL - 5:   Batteries:  Any 2C battery ROAR approved by October 1st, 2015.

OL LATE MODEL - 6:   Body:  Dirt Late Model Style body See http://dirtoval.com/rules for body list.

OL LATE MODEL - 6a:  Body to be realistically painted - windows to be transparent.  HCOT sticker must be place on rear window/deck area.

OL LATE MODEL - 6d:  No additional sail panels.

OL LATE MODEL – 6e:   Additional modified nerf bars and rear bumpers are permitted - side bars not to extend past tire.  Rear bumper should not extend out past the end of the body.

 

R/C Legends:

Legend - 1:   This HCOT Class will continue to be open to all racers during the 2015/2016 Season

Legend - 2:  This class will use the R/C Legend National Rule set found at http://www.rjspeed.com/rjspeed/2010rules.pdf with following exceptions, turn buckles may be used for steering links and we will be using the SMC 4000 1S Spec Pack with HCOT seal, properly installed receiver packs are permitted, red wire must be removed from ESC receiver connector. See Legend Rule 4 for tire exception.

Legend – 3: Motor is the Duratrax DTXC3301 per the R/C Legend National Rule Set.

Legend – 4: Tires: Any striped spec tire can be used.

Legend - 5:   The spirit of this class is to have fun, contact is expected. Many of the veteran drivers still have cars for newcomers to use at no cost, the only thing that is required is for a participant to show up at one of the race events and pay only the tracks race entry fee. Mudboss:

Mudboss - 1:   TRAXXAS 2wd (SLASH or RAPTOR) chassis only

Mudboss – 1.1 – Salvas EDM body only, this is available through the Salvas Mudboss group on Facebook. We also hope to have a body or 2 in the parts locker at all times.

Mudboss - 2:  Chassis: Original MFG suspension parts only, no other parts allowed (such as from RPM)

Mudboss - 2.1 - Original MFG chassis parts only, no aftermarket hop-ups, no aluminum parts

Mudboss - 2.2 - Front bumper must be removed, side bumpers can also be removed if so desired. It is recommended to leave rear bumper in place for durability and to ease in marshalling.

Mudboss - 2.3 – TRAXXAS front optional bumper (TRA2735) can be used (angled down)

Mudboss - 2.4 - No alterations to the chassis (such as holes, or removal of material by any means)

Musboss - 2.5 - TRAXXAS Low CG chassis is allowed (not mandatory)

Mudboss - 2.6 – You may use an aftermarket servo saver or solid arm to replace the stock traxxas servo saver.

Mudboss – 3: Electronics: Stock Traxxas components only, with exception of receiver.

Mudboss – 3.1 – Traxxas XL5 ESC

Mudboss – 3.2 – Traxxas Titan 12Turn Motor

Mudboss – 3.3 – Traxxas 2075 Servo

Mudboss – 3.4 – Any Radio/Receiver combination except noted in General Rules

Mudboss – 3.5 – Any 2s hard case battery up to 5200mah/50c with external plug, deans/traxxass etc.

Mudboss – 3.6 – No sound boxes

Mudboss – 4: Tires: JACO 2055LP on all 4 corners, these are all rear offset. Use of traction compound is not permitted.

Mudboss – 5: Suspension: Original plastic shocks with original springs sold with vehicle, no LCG kit springs.

Mudboss – 5.1 - Front spring(s) may have up to 3 coils cut from them.

Mudboss - 6: Adjustments:  The only adjustments allowed to the car are those allowed by the original MFG components of the car.

Mudboss – 6.1 - TRAXXAS 76/83/86/90 spur with all transmission parts in place (including slipper)

Mudboss – 6.2 – Any Pinion

Mudboss – 6.3 - The gear cover must be off at all times to allow for visual inspection of the gears and slipper assembly.

Mudboss – 6.4 - You are allowed to move the wheel spacers (Black, grey of a combination of both)

Mudboss – 6.5 – Limiting spacers or fuel tubing may be used on the shock shafts inside or outside of the shock body to limit overall length and/or travel.
