21.5 Late Model:

Late Model - 1:    Chassis:  Any commercially available 1/10th scale direct drive pan car chassis is eligible, must maintain the original manufacturers main chassis plate.                                     

Late Model - 1a:  Aftermarket bumpers are permitted but must not protrude outside of the body.

Late Model - 1b:  Maximum width = 9.875”, Minimum width = 7.25”, Maximum length = 20”, Maximum wheel base = 11”, Minimum wheel base = 9”, Ride Height (Bottom chassis) = 4mm minimum.

Late Model - 1c:  Weight of the car race ready – including transponder (personal or track supplied) must be 36 ounce minimum.

Late Model - 2:    Bodies:  Bodies must be readily available DIRT Late Model Body such as those from McAllister, RJ Speed or locally made HoverCrafts.

Late Model - 2a:  Bodies must be realistically trimmed – wheel wells must be cut out with 100% of the tire visible.

Late Model - 2b:  Bodies must be realistically painted:  Windows must be transparent.

Late Model - 2c:  Rear spoilers are permitted with maximum height of 2” from top of rear deck.

Late Model - 2d:  NO SIDE DAMS ARE PERMITTED.

Late Model - 2e:  The Hooter Chassis Outlaw Tour sticker must be place on the rear window area of the body.

Late Model - 3:   Batteries:  4000 SMC – 25c – 1 cell

Late Model - 3a:  Receiver packs are allowed.

Late Model - 4:   Motors:  Novak SS or Ballistic 21.5 Only, NO TUNING/CRAWLER MOTORS, ROTORS or LIGHTENED/MACHINED ENDBELLS

Late Model - 5:   ESC: Any ROAR Sportsman ESC

Late Model - 6:   Tires:  Spec Foam tire manufactured by Trinity, BSR and TM – any color compound allowed including World GT.  Must have spec color ring.  Wheel diameter – min. = 1 5/8”, max. = 2”; Tire width – min. = Ύ”, max. = 2”

17.5 Sportsman Truck:

Sportsman Truck -1   Chassis:  Any commercially available 1/10th scale direct drive pan car chassis is eligible, must maintain the original manufacturer’s main chassis plate.

Sportsman Truck -1a   Aftermarket bumpers are permitted but must not protrude outside of the body.

Sportsman Truck -1b   Maximum width = 9.875:, Minimum Width = 7.25”, Maximum length = 20”, Maximum Wheel Base = 11”, Minimum Wheel Base = 9”,  Ride Height (bottom chassis) = 4mm minimum including button head screws.

Sportsman Truck -1c   Weight of the car race ready – including transponder (personal or track supplied) Must be 36 oz. minimum

Sportsman Truck -2    Bodies:  Bodies must be NASCAR truck style, Refer to TOUR rules for approved list.

Sportsman Truck -2a   Bodies must be realistically trimmed - wheel wells must be cut out with 100% of the tire visible.

Sportsman Truck -2b   Bodies must be realistically painted, windows must remain transparent.

Sportsman Truck -2c    Rear spoilers are permitted with maximum height of 2” from top of truck bed.  Rear of body cannot be removed.

Sportsman Truck -2d   NO REAR WINGS ARE PERMITTED.

Sportsman Truck -2e   The Hooter Chassis Outlaw Tour sticker must be place on the rear window area of the body.

Sportsman Truck - 3     Batteries:  SMC 4000 - 25c - 1cell

Sportsman Truck - 3a   Receiver Packs are permitted.

Sportsman Truck - 4     Motors:  Any ROAR approved Sensored Motor/Rotor Combination. Lightened/Machined endbells are not permitted in this class.

Sportsman Truck - 5     ESC:  Any ROAR Sportsman ESC

Sportsman Truck - 6     Tires:  World GT Tires only from Trinity, BSR or TM with the purple ring. The entry from JACO cannot be used.  Wheel diameter - min. = 1 5/7”, max = 2”.

17.5 Open (stock):

Stock - 1:   Any 1/10th scale direct drive pan car chassis is eligible provided it follows any guidelines in the ROAR rules.

Stock - 2:  No bumpers will be allowed to protrude outside of the body of the car.

Stock - 3:  Weight of the car race ready including transponder (Personal or track supplied) must be a minimum 36 ounces.

Stock - 4:  Maximum width = 9.875”, Minimum width = 7.25”, Maximum length = 20”, Maximum wheel base = 11”, Minimum wheel base = 9”, Ride Height (chassis bottom and body) = 4mm minimum including button head screws

Stock - 5:  Any NASCAR style car body is allowed (See TOUR rules for approved list) and must be trimmed realistically and backs must remain in the body.  Bodies must cover all 4 wheels (all wheels must be cut out, 100% visible), windows must be transparent.  HCOT sticker placed in the rear window area.

Stock - 6:  Rear wings ARE NOT PERMITTED Rear spoilers:  may not be greater than 1.5” tall from the trunk lid.

Stock - 7:  Motors:  Any ROAR approved 17.5 Motor/Rotor combinations. Starting with 2012 New Year’s Day race the factory machined and lightened end bells from Revtech and Novak will be approved for usage in this class to follow suit with the approvals by TOUR and BRL. Additional offerings will be reviewed as they become available and will be approved for usage the race following the TOUR/BRL approval.

Stock - 8:  Battery:  Any 1cell LIPO ROAR approved by September 1, 2011.

Stock - 9:  ESC: Any ESC/Software available to the racing public through normal distribution channels at least 30 days prior to the date of the event.

Stock - 10:  Tires:  Any commercially available foam tires only – no rubber tires. Wheel diameter - minimum = 1 5/8”, maximum = 2”, Tire width - minimum = Ύ”, max. 2”

EDM:

EDM - 1:   Chassis:  Any gearbox style chassis using 4 wheel independent suspension is legal - Buggy based conversions also are legal and may be altered to reverse gearboxes and offset batteries.  Gearboxes must be of 3 internal gear configurations - No Direct Drive Permitted.

EDM - 1a:   Wheelbase to be:  Minimum = 9”, Max. = 11.5”   Maximum track width = 9.875” (9 7/8) Chassis bottom height = Ό”

EDM - 1b:  Overall length – including body:  Maximum = 22”

EDM - 1c:  Weight to be 50 oz. Minimum.

EDM - 2:  Motors:  Any ROAR approved 17.5 Motor/Rotor combinations. Starting with 2012 New Year’s Day race the factory machined and lightened end bells from Revtech and Novak will be approved for usage in this class to follow suit with the approvals by TOUR and BRL. Additional offerings will be reviewed as they become available and will be approved for usage the race following the TOUR/BRL approval.

EDM - 2a:  ESC:  Any ESC/Software available to the racing public through normal distribution channels at least 30 days prior to the date of the event.

EDM - 3:   Tires:  Wheel width to be Maximum 1.75” (Buggy wheels) - Foam Tires Only.

EDM - 3a:  Pan car wheels are permitted but must be cut down to a Maximum width of 1.5”

EDM - 4:   Batteries:  Any 2C battery ROAR approved by September 1st, 2011.

EDM - 5:   Body:  Only Modified style bodies only permitted - must leave front wheels completely exposed and rear tires must be at least 1/3 exposed.  Bodies based on replicating Big/Small Block Modified Cars not E-Mod style cars. 

EDM - 5a:  Body to be realistically painted - side windows to be transparent and present of rear quarter window also must be clear.  HCOT sticker must be place on the top area.

EDM - 5b:  Center of body must be open - no front sealed window to act as spoiler.

EDM - 5c:  An additional front panel is allowed on the front of the car but may not extend past the front bumper and should be no wider than 4.5”.

EDM - 5d:  No additional lips or flaps/spoilers are permitted with the exception of a Ό” bend at the rear of the roof and top and bottom of the side and sail panel – no more than 45 degrees.

EDM - 5e:  Minimum Roof Height = 6.0” - at any point.

EDM - 5f:   Maximum body width = 8” - Minimum body width = 7”

EDM - 5g:  Rear spoiler cord = Maximum 3”

EDM - 5h:  Maximum Side/Sail Panel Length = 17” - Side Panels May Not Extend Past the front axle.

EDM - 5i:   Additional modified nerf bars and rear bumpers are permitted - side bars not to extend past body more than Ό” - Rear bumper should not extend out past the end of the body.

EDM - 5j:  Front bumpers are permitted - they must be flat (not angled to act as a wing/spoiler).  Maximum width to be 5”
